Equipment Operator

About the Position

Operate and maintain all equipment related to cementing, stimulation, coiled tubing, and rigging up in their assigned service field. Operate auxiliary equipment and pump unit while maintaining excellent quality control and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Comply with all governmental regulations, industry standards and observes all health, safety and environmental policies to reduce environmental impacts Attend and complete employee safety training and Operators online training. Comply with company and industry QHSE policies and standards.

 

Job Requirements

Education / Qualification:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent company experience

 

 

Experience:

 

  • 1-2 Years minimum proven field experience in Coiled tubing Stimulation Cementing operations.
  • Capable of operating all equipment listed in this JD and/or finalized all requirements from Operator I to Operator II.

 

Administrative & Technical Skills:

 

  • Moderate English 
  • Moderate Computer Skills 
  • Fast learner, result oriented and independent with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possess strong customer service skills, i.e, Listening, follow through, Willingness to help.
  • Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures and priorities, or work environments.
  • Ability to work both cooperatively and independently and set priorities in the context of operational impact.
  • Report any accidents, incidents or near miss incidents in accordance with the company’s HSE Manual.
  • Attend monthly HSE meetings and initiate changes to existing HSE procedures or initiate new procedures if deemed necessary.
  • QHSE procedural knowledge, Extensive equipment, and product knowledge. 

 

Duties, Responsibilities & Key Tasks

 

  • Has a good knowledge of the major components of the CSC Equipment
  • Fully knowledgeable on all Coiled Tubing & Stimulation equipment and what they are used for.
  • Fully competent and takes a direct role in spotting equipment into position; rig up treating lines, hoses, trucks, tanks at the well site, assist in wellhead, BOP and Injector Head rig up according to company location safety standards.
  • Full knowledge of chemicals safety handling and fully competent in blend and prepare stimulation chemicals for pumping according to established procedures.
  • Fully competent and is responsible for maintaining and operating pump unit and/or Batch mixer.
  • Fully competent in performing level I maintenance on Coiled Tubing and Stimulation, cementing equipment (including Nitrogen Unit) and operating either of them based on location needs.
  • Operate assigned pump unit, batch mixer and all related auxiliary equipment during treatment, recognize equipment malfunctions, and correct them as necessary or report them to Service Supervisor.
  • Strive for service quality in all assigned tasks and report any service quality issues.
  • Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies.
  • Successfully complete assigned safety training and ensure validation.
  • Completion of all necessary job and equipment paperwork in line with company procedures.
  • Perform other assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.
  • Review and dispatch equipment according to checklist procedure.
  • Accountable for the safe operation of AMES (AMOS) and Customer (if any) Equipment in his area of operations.

 

QHSE System Requirements

AMOS operates an Integrated Management System (IMS) at all operational facilities to meet their business, legal and moral QHSE obligations. All personnel are required to work in full compliance with the requirements set out in the AMES (AMOS) IMS, this will be included as a minimum.

 

  • Ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with company Quality, Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. 
  • Not undertaking any task for which authorization and/or training has not been given.
  • Ensuring the highest standard of workmanship produced is in accordance with the company expectations and as per customer, regulatory standards, and specification.
  • Promoting good health, safety, and environmental practices throughout all company activities.
    Wearing the assigned Personal Protective Equipment required.
  • Taking care to prevent harm to themselves, colleagues and others and the environment that may be caused by our acts or omissions.
  • Keeping the work area neat, organized & free of trip and other hazards.
  • Reporting hazards in plant, equipment and other workplace, or shortcomings in the existing controls, to a superior without delay. 
  • Supporting continual improvement of the integrated management system by expressing better and safer ways to perform tasks and improve policies and procedures. 
  • Participate in QHSE training required to meet minimum identified for position undertaken.
  • Attending Toolbox Talks, QHSE meetings and training as and when required.
  • Fast learner, result oriented and independent with strong interpersonal skills.

 

QHSE Authority & Accountability

 

  • To report any unsafe behaviors to their immediate Supervisor or Safety representative. Where there may be conflict report directly to facility QHSE Manager.
  • Authority on QHSE grounds to stop operations or delivery of SRP product on the existence of an immediate risk of harm to personnel or environmental pollution and damage to property.
